AID-M-003.007: LLM Behavior & Prompt-Suite Baselining
Pillars: model, app
Lifecycle: validation, operation
Scope boundary
Owns signed, release-bound LLM and agent behavioral references for governed golden prompts, refusals, policy conformance, leakage probes, injection and jailbreak challenges, task quality, and optional embedding distributions.
AID-M-003.002: AID-M-003.007 owns LLM prompt-suite and configuration-bound behavioral references; AID-M-003.002 owns general predictive and operational baselines. A prompt, system policy, tool, retrieval, and evaluator binding is essential to the LLM claim and cannot be represented by generic KPI records alone.
AID-M-008: AID-M-003.007 establishes a stable expected-behavior reference and regression suite; AID-M-008 runs broader adversarial security benchmarking, including adaptive and stateful attack campaigns. A golden prompt baseline supports repeatable comparison but does not establish resistance to an attacker optimizing for bypass.
Implementation guidance
- AID-M-003.007-G001: Build a version-bound golden prompt suite and emit a signed LLM behavior baseline before promotion.
- AID-M-003.007-G002: Bind embedding-distribution fingerprints to the same model, prompt, and retrieval versions as the prompt-suite baseline.
- AID-M-003.007-G003: Attach the behavior-baseline digest to the model or application release record as a promotion gate.
AID-M-003.007-G001
Concept and release binding
Keep prompts and scoring rules in a signed suite, but obtain the model, prompt-template, system-policy, retrieval-index, evaluator, endpoint, and generation identities from a separately signed release binding produced by the authoritative release and retrieval-index exporters. The runner rejects a missing or non-SHA-256 retrieval digest; there is no placeholder or caller-supplied trust flag.
Step 1: Define deterministic case rules without release placeholders

NOT_APPLICABLE requires a signed architecture or capability evidence digest; APPLICABLE forbids an N/A evidence value.
Step 2: Call the real release-validation endpoint and bind every response

The pinned image contains the reviewed evaluator and tests, while the private staged inputs, verification keys, TLS material, and output are mounted separately with the narrowest required access.
Action: Run the suite against the real release-validation path whenever any bound version changes. CI must also exercise a positive fixture and failures for a redirect, oversized body, mismatched retrieval digest, model or prompt version, missing or extra case, malformed response, leakage marker, transport error, and high or critical case failure. Do not sign or promote a baseline after any such failure.
AID-M-003.007-G002
Concept and signed inputs
Build the embedding reference distribution only from the exact case population and release identities named by a signed binding. The release pipeline must populate that binding from real model, prompt-template, retrieval-index, and runner-image records; do not hand-author placeholder digests. Sign both the binding and the exported JSONL before the baseline job starts.
Step 1: Validate the exact population and compute deterministic statistics

A missing, duplicate, or unexpected case; metadata or dimension drift; invalid digest-pinned runner; signature failure; non-finite vector; or replay-byte mismatch yields ERROR or INSUFFICIENT_DATA, never a usable reference baseline. Runtime drift detection may consume this artifact, but this Model control owns only its exact reference population and release binding.
AID-M-003.007-G003
Concept
A baseline that lives only in CI logs is not enforceable. Consume the exact artifacts produced by G001 and G002, verify detached signatures against private snapshots before parsing, and derive embedding requirements only from the signed behavior-baseline binding. File absence never proves NOT_APPLICABLE.

Missing behavior evidence, missing applicable embedding evidence, signature failure, schema drift, metadata mismatch, or an unproven optionality state prevents the gate file from being created. Only a signed NOT_APPLICABLE state with its evidence digest may produce a null embedding digest.
Replay the release-bound suite
Before promotion, independently verify the gate and its input signatures, rerun the policy-selected prompt and applicable embedding populations through the exact bound versions, recompute every digest, and compare the complete release record. A stale gate from another release cannot satisfy the release-specific path.
